Mr Smalt had been contacted by his local Seat dealer and informed that they believed his cambelt was due to be changed. He was quoted £350 and an extra £60 if he also wished to change the water pump (which in most cases is highly recommended). After hearing about the VW Audi Specialists from a colleague at his work who gave him a recommendation card (and earned themselves a £20 discount voucher for doing so!) he contacted us and asked for a price. Utilising his 10% discount as a first time customer and some super keen pricing we were able to change the cambelt and water pump for only £299 and offer a FREE aircon service as part of a special offer at the time worth £59.

Mr Holland made enquiries as to the initial cost of a first in warranty service for his beloved Audi TT 2.0 TFSi. After discussing the initial work with one of our advisors he decided to visit our premises and check out our facilities. We were able to show him around our workshops and explain our Audi approved service schedule to him. Once satisfied that his vehicle was to be in safe hands we performed a “Main Dealer Spec” first service while he waited and watched one of our Senior Technicians. The only thing that Mr Holland had to worry about was what to spend the £160 we saved him on!!

Although we’re not the next emergency services, we are often able to attend a local (within 20 miles) breakdown within the hour and non local (20 miles +) within a couple of hours, 24 hours a day. When Mr Patel’s Polo decided to lose all power whilst halfway down the M6 at 9pm on a Saturday evening, he simply called our 24hr office line and our operators swiftly organized his recovery. His vehicle was taken to an overnight compound close to our premises and he was offered a lift home. On Monday morning we were able to diagnose the problem, a blown turbo, offer a choice of genuine or OE parts to keep the costs down and have him reunited with his vehicle and back on the road by 4pm!

Business, as well as private customers, are able to make substantial cost savings when using The VW Audi Specialists to look after their fleet of vehicles. A local company approached us and enquired if we were able to look after its Sales Managers who all had new VW Passats. Until this point they had been using a local main dealer but felt that their current maintenance costs were far too high. We suggested that we make available courtesy cars when necessary should the work take more than one hour or for quicker jobs a while you wait service where their managers could take advantage of our relaxing waiting area and enjoy freshly ground coffee :o) and keep in touch with the office using our wi-fi facilities.

The VW Audi Specialists are approved by nearly all of the UK’s contract hire and leasing companies for servicing and repairs. Using the OneLink network we are able to obtain authorisation and payment all electronically making all transactions completely hassle free to the customer. When Mr Kahid’s brake warning light came on in his Octavia which was on contract through Lloyds TSB Autolease he simply called in and after diagnosing the problem we were able to immediately authorise new discs and pads directly with Lloyds and 40 minutes later he was on his way again!

A free MOT from a main dealer has got to be a good deal hasn’t it?? That’s what Ms Bailey thought when booking in her Audi A3. Unfortunately her car failed on a number of items and she was presented with a repair quote which could have been mistaken for a price of a new car!! After contacting us for a second opinion we were able to recommend a number of repairs using more cost effective parts and some repairs that simply didn’t need parts at all. We then took the car for an MOT ourselves and success! The car passed and we were able to save Ms Bailey over £600 on her previously quoted main dealer repairs.

We always like to grow our business through word of mouth and recommendation, in order to help do this we decided to share the cost savings made by not having to invest in expensive advertising campaigns with YOU the customer. Mr Hancock had previously had a service on his Seat Ibiza and as with all of our customers was given some recommendation cards. These entitled the person being recommended to a one off 10% discount but more importantly earned Mr Hancock a £20 credit against future servicing / repairs. Over the course of a month Mr Hancock recommended 3 new customers to us earning him £60 which he promptly turned into a free airconditioning service.
