For such an important component as the cambelt, peace of mind is vital. Not only can you be assured that the VW Audi specialists fit genuine parts but these parts are also backed by a no quibble, 2 year mechanical failure warranty. If the unthinkable happens within 2 years of the fitting date and you are able to take your car to the nearest VW, Audi, SEAT or Škoda main dealer then they will repair any damage caused by the cambelt failure completely FREE OF CHARGE.
Mr Timms has an Audi A3 2.0TDi (2004 reg). He had a genuine cambelt kit fitted by ourselves but unfortunately, after only 18 months and 38,000 miles, the cambelt tensioner failed causing the belt to snap. The fault was a rare one and was caused by mechanical failure however it resulted in severe damage to the valves within the cylinder head. The repair would have cost Mr Timms over £2000 but because the cambelt tensioner was under two years old and therefore still under warranty, his local Audi main dealer repaired the car as part of Audi’s parts warranty obligations. A saving of over £2000 for Mr Timms!! Had he opted for a non genuine cambelt kit which at the time was £35 cheaper he would have had to pay for the repairs himself as non genuine kits are only covered for 12 months and normally only by the supplying garage.
Many of the VAG engines have cambelt driven water pumps which as many people know are prone to breaking causing engine over heating, possible head gasket failure and severe engine damage. If your water pump is cambelt driven we recommend you change this at the same time as the cambelt (usually there is no extra labour charge, so you only have to pay for the part). To encourage this recommended replacement we are offering all relevant water pumps at ½ PRICE
When changing the water pump on your vehicle it is an ideal time to completely cleanse your cooling system. Even if you don’t need a water pump its good practice to change your coolant often.
Regularly flushing your radiator is a vital element of car maintenance. Your car's cooling system protects it from the extreme heat generated by the engine and keeps the engine itself operating within the proper temperature range. Keeping the cooling system free of rust, buildup and contaminants will help keep it and your engine in top working condition. You should flush your radiator once every two years. To encourage this recommended maintenance we are offering all coolant changes at ½ PRICE
A Cambelt or 'Timing Belt' change is one of the most important aspects of maintaining your car, if you neglect it - you could end up needing a new engine. The Volkswagen Group recommend most VW, Audi, SEAT and Škoda engines must have their cambelt changed between every 60,000 to 80,000 miles or 4/5 years depending on engine type. Your service manual will tell you the correct mileage for your cambelt change or better still simply give us a quick call or email your query and we'll let you know straightaway.
• Are you 100% sure that your cambelt has been changed at the correct time or mileage?
• Are you 100% sure that your cambelt has been changed at all?
• If you have just purchased or are looking at purchasing a used car, does the previous owner have proof of a cambelt change at the correct mileage?
If you have answered any of these questions with NO then we recommend you book a cambelt change with the VW Audi specialists.
Our Price Guarantee: We are confident you'll find it hard to beat our prices for a VAG Specialist Cambelt but, in the unlikely event that you find a lower price for the same service, using the same quality parts and diagnostic procedures at a VAT registered garage - we'll beat it, simple as that- and dont forget your ½ PRICE WATER PUMP OFFER.
